Catching Up...

Jeezo, I've not been here in a wee while.

The last week and a half has been busy. Aside from working my ass off at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, I was recently invited to join the admin team over at the Big Comic Page. I had thought about doing a 'Credit Where It's Due' post about BCP, as the site was one of the first Scottish comic blogs I started networking with when I first began blogging, but I guess now that would be overly biased! The site posts news and opinion pieces and the admins all post regular weekly content of their own, as well as hosting regular book groups, podcasts, and events. I'll be their Edinburgh liaison, and I'm excited to be a part of it. I recently posted a write-up of Neil Gaiman's Sandman talk at Edinburgh Book Festival for the site, which you can read HERE.

Rather than re-posting BCP content on this blog, I'll simply be posting a link to their site whenever my articles go live, so as not to steal any site traffic, so keep an eye out for that!

In other news, I am totally pissed off that August's issue of Guardians Of The Galaxy has been delayed by an entire month, and #7 will be delayed also. I'm very upset by that, as I was wondering why I hadn't seen it on the shelves this week, and there seemed to be no announcements online. I had to go hunting for info. What makes things worse is that September looks to be a quiet month for me comics-wise, as I may skip a lot of my usual DC titles due to their 'Villains Month' gimmick. Can't be arsed with that at all, but it could be an opportunity to pick up some trades instead.

Anyway, it's late and I'm rambling. I'll try and get some content up soon!
