Forbidden Planet Adventures

I had a dream last night where I went into Forbidden Planet, and Joey and Chandler from Friends were working there. They gave me doughnuts, then asked me to look after the place while they went away and had a threesome with some random chick! Then I woke up. Very strange.

Anyway, here's a nice story...

This afternoon I went into Forbidden Planet to pick up what they said was the 2nd printing of Batman Incorporated #8 (the death of Robin), as I had missed the 1st printing last week. There was some confusion, as the book rang up at £12 on the till. A phone call was made to I-don't-know-who, and I was sold the comic at the cover price of £2.40. Having checked inside the book, and after a Twitter chat with Batman Inc. artist Chris Burnham, it appears I got the 1st printing variant, which is currently selling on ebay for around £20! It should have been £12 in the shop, but the lovely people behind the counter sold it to me at a knock-down price anyway! Awesomesauce! I love my friendly Forbidden Planeteers (planitarians?).
